Keeping up the fight!

The Columbia Daily Tribune recently posted an article online regarding the fight for more government oversight of genetically modified food. People are becoming more and more aware of the issue of genetic modification of plants and seeds, and they are fighting to raise awareness of this debate. So far unsuccessful in the government, there is a growing network of consumers putting time and effort into this cause. What do you think, is it important to you that genetically modified seeds be more closely regulated by the government? Check out this article for more details.

  1. AP - What a good article! How can they KNOW there are no health concerns? 1996 is hardly a drop in the bucket, and look at all of the increasing health issues in the US. No correlation at all? How do they know? I am not comfortable with this at all. I think the guy is right about no turning back. We are playing with our health, our planet, and our lives. Money, money, money. It drives everything. This whole "feed the world" pat answer is sounding more and more empty. THANKS for sharing. :)
